Don't #1: Don't Count Calories
Rather, count items while on phase 2 of the HCG diet. You get 2 servings of meat (100 grams each), 2 servings of veggies, 2 servings of fruit, and 2 servings of carbs. That makes it a lot easier and causes less stress while on the HCG diet.Some HCG dieters try to count every calorie on the HCG diet to try to add up their daily caloric intake to be exactly 500 calories... Don't do that. It causes un-needed stress and may lead to eating too much if you try to make up or add extra foods to each the exact amounts of calories on the HCG Diet.

You can ONLY eat what is on Dr. Simeon's Food List whether that adds up to exactly 500 calories or not.

Don't #2: Don't Cheat

This one's pretty straight forward...Don’t cheat on the HCG diet. It will probably set you back a couple of days and may mess with the metabolism reset feature of the HCG diet.

According to Dr. Simeons, you need to have at least 21 consecutive, non-cheating days following the phase 2 meal plan with the HCG product in your system to reset your metabolism. Resetting your metabolism is important on the HCG diet because it makes it easier to maintain the weight loss in phase 3 of the HCG diet.

Don't #3: Don't Have  Energy Drinks, Juice, Etc.

Basically don’t drink anything besides plain coffee, tea, Sprite Zero, or water flavored with sweeteners.

Don't #4: Don't Eat the Same Meal Twice in a Day

Don't eat the same HCG meat or the same HCG vegetable two times in a row, the more variety... the better. Therefore, don't have chicken and lettuce for both lunch and dinner. Have chicken and lettuce for lunch and steak with tomato for dinner. This helps keep weight loss on HCG faster, because you are giving your body a high variety of nutrients.
