Skewered Steak and Onions {Phase 2}

A quick marinade and grilling brings out the fabulous flavour of this kebab-style entrée that’s delicious and satisfying.


100 g lean beef, such as tenderloin, cubed
1 red onion, peeled and cut into chunks
1/4 cup organic red wine vinegar
1 sachet sweetener
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon horseradish
Salt and pepper to taste
1. Place the cubed beef and onion chunks in a shallow dish. In a small bowl whisk together the vinegar, Stevia, oregano, horseradish, salt and pepper, and pour over the beef and onions. Marinate for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

2. Preheat a grill or broiler. Thread the beef and onions on a metal skewer and pat dry. Grill kebabs to desired doneness (about 4 minutes per side for rare), turning the skewers occasionally to cook evenly. Serve immediately.
